This boiler replacement improved the work experience for the maintenance staff at Baylor Health Systems. An epoxy floor coating, wrapped insulation, safety yellow painting and upgraded lighting provided better visibility and safety around the new equipment.

The size and situation of the new boilers provided Polk Mechanical’s sheet metal workers with an opportunity to get creative. They offset the boiler flues from the exhaust. Flue covers were added to the roof to keep debris out and increase boiler longevity.

During the renovation system shut-downs were required to replace critical valves and other equipment. The project was completed with only 5 facility shut-downs. The result of working closely with our customer’s team.
