As Executive Vice President, Jon consistently demonstrated exceptional strategic vision, operational expertise, and a deep passion for the construction industry and Polk Mechanical’s employees. Since Polk’s formation in 2003, Jon has been an integral part of the company’s growth in becoming a well-respected, customer-centric specialty contractor. Outside of the company, Jon has most recently served as Executive Chairman of the Construction Education Foundation (CEF) and as a member of the Board of Directors for TEXO, the combined organization of the North Texas chapters of the Associated General Contractors and Associated Builders and Contractors industry groups.
With this promotion, Jon will lead Polk Mechanical’s construction operations and oversee their truck-based service and maintenance groups in all major markets.
“I am excited and honored to transition to this new leadership role,” said Jon. “I look forward to continuing Polk’s strong legacy of growth and excellence. I am committed to creating opportunities for our Polk Nation people and humbled by the opportunity to support our team on the next leg of our company’s journey.”
Fran McCann previously served as both CEO and President and will now focus his leadership as CEO. He has worked with Jon for over 24 years, both starting careers at Trinity Contractors, a predecessor company to Polk Mechanical.
Fran expressed, “I could not be more proud of Jon. He exemplifies our culture and values, and cares deeply about the success of our employees and customers. Jon represents the next generation of industry leadership, and I can’t wait to see him execute on the exciting vision he has for our company.”/ Tweet This / Posted in: News
