Leadership

KEN POLK – FOUNDER
Mr. Polk, now retired, has paved the way for the future leaders to carry on his commitment to the highest quality installations, outstanding safety, exemplary customer service, and opportunities for Polk Mechanical’s employees.

FRAN MCCANN – PRESIDENT/CEO
Fran is responsible for the accomplishment of short- and long-term strategic, financial and operational goals and directs the development of the organization to ensure future growth and success.

BARRY DUNCAN – CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
With Polk since 2009, Barry brings 30 years of diverse experience in accounting services, treasury, information systems, manufacturing, production control, mergers and acquisitions, SEC reporting and international operations.

YANCEY JONES – CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER 
Yancey brings strong leadership to the Polk Mechanical construction team and is responsible for development and execution of the commercial and industrial construction business in both DFW & Houston.

MARK SLEDGE – EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT SERVICE
Mark has over 30 years of experience in the industry and is responsible for all aspects of our Texas Service Team.  Mr. Sledge brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience in commercial HVAC/R, plumbing, compressed air, mechanical maintenance and energy management to Polk Mechanical Company.

JAMES SIMS – VICE PRESIDENT HUMAN RESOURCES 
With over 20 years of experience, James is a results oriented, hands on HR professional with diversified experience in both the public and private sectors. As Vice President of Human Resources, James is responsible for all aspects of the HR and recruiting functions for Polk Nation. James holds the SHRM-SCP and SPHR designations.

JON GRIME – VP OF DFW CONSTRUCTION
With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry Jon is responsible for business development, operational efficiency, and customer service in the DFW marketplace. Jon also sits on multiple boards, one of which is the CEF board where he is director responsible to advise the team training the next generation of skilled craftsmen.

CHRISTOPHER LUBEROFF – GROUP MANAGER, HOUSTON CONSTRUCTION
With over 10 years in the industry, Chris brings a new excitement and energy to our Houston Construction team having been promoted from within Polk Nation. Chris managed one of our largest profit centers in DFW before accepting the challenge to lead the Houston office following the retirement of its previous manager. Chris is passionate about employee culture and client satisfaction.

DON MCHUGH – VP of DFW INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTION
Don brings nearly 30 years of experience in the industrial marketplace providing leadership to a team focused on end users and manufacturers in areas such as Food & Beverage, Pulp & Paper, Building Materials, Chemical, Packaging and several others.

DEREK HYZAK – VP of DFW COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION
With 19 years of experience in the industry, Derek leads and manages the largest construction group at Polk Mechanical. Derek is focused on operational excellence and training the next generation of project managers across the company.

DAVID HIGGINS – VICE PRESIDENT HOUSTON SERVICE
As Vice President of Houston Service, David is responsible for management, operations and business development for service in Houston. David brings over 35 years of business development and leadership experience to the Polk team.
