Polk Mechanical is proud to announce the graduation of the inaugural class of the LEADERSHIPOLK program. 10 of our best and brightest employees were selected for a year-long program aimed at identifying and motivating potential company leaders from all areas of our business. The program opened a dialogue among emerging and current company leaders and challenged participants to apply their talents throughout the company.
Participants were chosen from all areas of the company: Commercial, Industrial, Service, DFW, Houston, Operations, and Support. These 10 employees were selected because they have demonstrated a capacity for leadership, live the Polk values, do their day job with excellence and are consummate company promoters both internally and externally.
The Leadership Polk program consisted of seven sessions in the form of lectures, discussion groups, field trips, simulations, and other leadership development activities.

To successfully complete the Leadership Polk program, participants needed to exhibit a passion for the future of our company and a personal commitment to improving the quality of life for all Polk employees. Commit to enhancing their leadership capabilities to meet the demands of the 21st century and the future of Polk Mechanical. Finally, participants needed to prove their willingness to invest the time and energy necessary to complete the program requirements.
The Leadership Polk participants have gained greater awareness and understanding of the challenges facing our company, developed valuable contacts and communication networks inside and outside the company, created new opportunities for positive change, and most importantly, become actively involved in promoting progress for Polk Nation.
