Hey Polk Nation,

One of the traditions that we look forward to this time of year is the annual Polk Christmas party. It is the one day of the year that we come together to celebrate all that we have accomplished. Just as important, it is also our opportunity to show each of you and your families some Polk Nation LOVE and let you know how much we appreciate all you do for our company and our customers.

Given the challenges surrounding Coronavirus and the need to ensure the safety and well-being of you and your families, it is with great disappointment that we have decided the 2020 Polk Christmas party will not be held this year.

Together we have done a great job navigating these challenging and difficult times and we are very proud of the commitment and resilience that each of you demonstrate everyday on the job.

Just because we are not having a party does not mean we cannot hand out gifts. This year we have a couple of special gifts for you:

  • Follow this link to choose a company jacket https://bit.ly/3pdtiMs (choose from the options provided and provide your size). Jackets will be distributed in mid-December. Be sure to make your selection and indicate your size by noon on Monday, November 16th.
  • Additionally, for those employees currently enrolled in Polk’s Blue Cross Blue Shield medical plan, we will be providing a premium holiday for the five weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas. During that time, Polk will pay 100% of your Blue Cross Blue Shield medical plan premiums, thereby putting more dollars in your paycheck during the holiday season.

Each of you are the heart of our great company! We look forward to the near future when the COVID craziness is behind us and we can come together and celebrate (in person) the accomplishments and spirit of this great team we call Polk Nation!!
