Bryan Thomas - Vice President, Group Manager Houston Projects
As Vice President of the Houston Business Group he is responsible for
management, operations, business development, and negotiations of all projects
in the Greater Houston area. Mr. Thomas has brought experience and
leadership to the Houston office that has led it to a prosperous division with
steady growth.
Mr. Thomas began his professional career in 1978 where he started in the Mechanical contracting
business full time. Being a graduate of Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science degree in Building
Construction he began his career doing small projects and soon became Service Manager. From
here he was given an opportunity to estimate. He advanced to senior estimator and worked on large
and small projects that might have began as a simple sketch on a napkin. He worked closely with
engineering firms through the development of the working documents to fully completed construction
drawings. His conceptual estimating skills were refined, bringing accuracy to an architectural and
engineering firm’s mechanical departments’ budgets and estimates. Mr. Thomas was then hired to
develop an estimating and sales department for a large mechanical contractor. As the senior sales
and design/build engineer he trained and coordinated the business development for this branch
office. Mr. Thomas then moved to senior sales engineer supervising and selling HVAC and Plumbing
work for his department. While in this roll, he sold and supervised a $12M hospital addition and
renovation in South Texas. This was the largest project ever done by this company.
Mr. Thomas holds a Class “A” air conditioning license for the State of Texas and a Master Plumbing
License for the State of Texas. He is Certified in Plumbing Engineering, C.I.P.E.
